They met on her 1st day of college, he was her RA, Resident Advisor. A friendship started and after a couple of years (and dating other people), they found themselves single at the same time. They started dating, and the rest is history! Being a part of a large family, Ali’s family welcomed JJ in with open arms, and JJ’s family adored sweet Ali too! They decided to get married in Branson, at Big Cedar Lodge primarily because JJ grew up vacationing in the area. This intimate wedding with just their closest friends and family was a special time for me to witness such true and sweet love! Their family welcomed me with open arms, and we all had just met! Even though I spent a very short time with this couple, I felt their love shine, and I felt loved and appreciated! Just another reason why I love what i do!
AWE!!!! I had such a lovely time with these two, shooting their intimate wedding at Dogwood Canyon in Ridegdale, MO last week! Cassie’s face had such a beautiful glow all day, and Eric was such a gentleman…these two were made for each other! I expressed how much I love watching couples in love, and Cassie says to me, “even though their were kids crying during the ceremony, and it was raining on her wedding day, all she could hear was the preacher’s words & the waterfall outside of the chapel, and all she could see was Eric’s face looking at hers”….Once again, I’m privilaged to witness love, and feel grateful that I’m a wedding photographer! Congratulations to you both! May Love always be in your eyes! xoxox…here’s to art, love, & laughter….
