Wedding Planner: Allie Rose Events
This Haseltine Estate Wedding was filled with so many details and love that my hands kept taking photos non-stop!
Springfield, MO sure has some amazing wedding venues, but Haseltine will always be my favorite place to shoot a wedding there! My romantic, authentic style of photography lends itself well to this venue!
Enjoy these captures, I hope it inspired you!
Missouri’s Top Wedding Vendors came togehter to create a Tuscan Themed Styled Wedding Shoot to give brides inspiration for their weddings! The shoot featured a White Tent, great for intimate receptions and gatherings! The tent was decorated with a “living” chandelier wrapped in ivy, with sprinkles of grapes and greenery! Ivy, lemons, and grapes are seen throughout and featured in the invitations, cake table, table settings, florals, and decorations! The food was simply delicous and uniquly displayed on a large butcher block with bounds of fruit, meats, speciality cheeses, and veggies! Our bride and groom even toasted to a bubbling Proseco tower! What a fun shoot to put together, even though we set this up unknowingly on the hottest day of the summer! Cheers!

“We met online… on Match.com to be exact. I always joke that he fell into my lap… welll laptop. 😉 Online dating is kind of a mad house. I was constantly getting messages from all kinds of crazy and non-crazy people so it was overwhelming. I decided I would just reach out to the people I found to be interesting instead of trying to respond to every message. When I came across Ryan I remember reading his profile and it talked about how much he loved to read but that he didn’t read as much because he couldn’t start a book because he would stay up all night and not do anything the next day until he finished it. That was me too!! Exactly! He was also a Mizzou fan (like me). He loved dogs (I have two dogs that I love), he had a daughter (I have two kids) so at that point I liked his profile and reached out. We began texting but because of work and vacation schedules it was at least a few weeks before we met for the first time for lunch. I was beginning to think that he didn’t really want to meet me in real life for some reason… but he finally did. He was a very funny texter. He would always send me funny memes, etc… I love humor and I can’t do life without it so it was perfect. When we finally met, he was pretty quiet at lunch (which was odd for such a great sense of humor) and I remember telling the girls at work that I didn’t really think he liked me. Little did I know he was just keeping his cards close to the chest. We had lunch a couple more time before we actually scheduled a dinner date. He asked if he could pick me up (Whoa there buddy!). I was hesitant at first but I said ok. I was so nervous that as soon as he pulled into my driveway I ran out the door before he could even come to the door for me. We went to a Mexican Restaurant… La Paloma to be exact. He was so handsome. We talked a whole bunch and had a great time. That was all in July. By the fall we were spending lots and lots of time together. Football games and tailgating in the Fall. We even did Christmas with each others families..” That’s the story of how they fell in love, but I also wanted to show you all the photos from their over-the-top stylish Great Gatsby themed Wedding!
This day could not of been sweeter! I was so honored that Abby Mitchell Events team asked to team up with me to capture this winning wedding design in the form of a photo shoot. The woodsy wonderland themed wedding inspiration came to life with the help of some of Springfield’s top wedding vendors! Bulb lights illuminated the head table in the middle of the cedars while being wrapped with ivy and cream peoonies garland, and adorned with gold geometric lights. The mauve bridesmaid dresses popped with vibrant color and paired well with Charity’s floral bouquets, and the groomsmen’s navy suits! I was in total awe of every last detail!
